The WEF’s annual meeting brings together the main culprits of the climate catastrophe – companies, states, organisations that are to a great extent gambling with the Paris Climate Agreement, the goal of limiting global warming to a maximum of 2ºC and human lives. 

The World Economic Forum, as an organisation linking stakeholders, has an undeniable responsibility for this crisis. They provide and participate in a platform that not only encourages but enables the spreading of lies, misinformation and mindless greenwashing. They create a culture in which ecology and climate friendliness become nothing more than a buzzword. They deliberately mislead society and politicise against a future worth living. Given the destructive power of the climate crisis already unleashed today, this is not justifiable.
